Consider it a prayer in song for enhancing your sense of peaceful illumination of your being. The words are:

Oh Holy Light, illumine me.
Shine in my Heart, and set me free.
E – e – e, E – e – e. Ah – a – a, Ah – a – a. Oh – h – h, Oh – h – h.

As you chant or listen to it, feel yourself relax and begin to flow with it. Close your eyes and really sense the song helping to bring you into an inspired sense of upliftment.

 While experiencing the Soul Song, you may also enjoy gazing at the image to the right.

Affirmations

The affirmations included in this meditation are:

• I breathe in Divine Light with each breath.
• I am filled with Divine Light and I shine it out to those around me.
• I am blessed with God’s Divine Light and Peace.

If possible, listen to some relaxing nonverbal music. Say a short prayer calling on the Divine to bless your meditation and enhance Divine Illumination in your life.

Visualize yourself in a ball of light to help strengthen your energy field. Become aware of and follow your breath as it gently flows in and out at its own pace. Imagine yourself as a large tree sending powerful roots deep into the earth to help you feel grounded and prevent possibly feeling spacey.

As you breathe in your nose, imagine you are breathing up the strength of the earth into your body. For a couple minutes listen to the relaxing music as you follow your breath. 

Next visualize pure white light. Periodically as you breathe in your nose, imagine that you are breathing glowing white light into your whole being. Silently pray to the Divine that your life be uplifted and blessed with Divine Illumination.

Next breathe in your nose and out your mouth for about a minute VERY GENTLY. Now, very gently breathe in your mouth and out your nose for about a minute. Then extra gently breathe in and out your mouth for a minute or so. Now return to breathing in and out your nose. As you breathe in your nose, imagine you are breathing in pure white light into your whole being. As you breathe out your nose, periodically say one or two of the following affirmations (or something similar).

I breathe in Divine Light with each breath.

I am filled with Divine Light and I shine it out to those around me.

I open to receive God’s Divine Light and Peace.

Pray to the Divine that you truly be blessed with Divine Illumination.

When you are ready to conclude your meditation, thank the Divine and then send down roots to Mother Earth for stability and grounding.
